    I received my little rose bush safely; that is, with no damage. However, by the time I opened it, the tiny piece of paper towel that was around the plastic sleeve on it had dried out and I thought the rose was a goner. I quickly went and transferred it to a pot. Thankfully it finally started to pick up and seems to be holding well now. I’m waiting before setting it outside for now until it can recover a bit from its shipping. Hopefully by this fall I can either plant it into a larger pot or the ground, but I’ll make my call then. Thank you for the pretty little plant. I hope it recovers and grows to be amazing. Maybe you should try wrapping soaked newspaper around the sleeves/pots before shipping, they may stay moist longer.

    I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews about purchasing a rose, but I went with my gut feeling and took a chance. It paid off. This is a well rooted cutting and arrived in perfect condition! One thing I did on my end to make sure that happened was look at the 7 day forecast. We are currently having abnormally mild summer weather for Missouri this week, so I knew it wouldn’t be traveling through any weather extremes with the post office. I really look forward to watching this grow and from previous experiences with rose cutting, I know that once they start to take off, they really establish themselves into your garden. However, I may wait until next spring to plant this one in the ground and keep it safe in my greenhouse in the meantime.
