These plants are adapted to arid environments and need well-drained soil to prevent root rot and other moisture-related issues. Our blend includes Coarse Perlite, which ensures superior drainage and aeration, allowing roots to breathe and grow without being waterlogged.
- Light Requirements: Prefers bright, indirect light for optimal growth and color intensity. It can tolerate some filtered sunlight but should be protected from harsh, direct sun to avoid leaf scorching.
- Watering Needs: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly, typically every 2–3 weeks, and ensure the pot has proper drainage to prevent overwatering and root rot.
- Growth Characteristics: A compact, slow-growing succulent with rosette-shaped foliage. The leaves are adorned with intricate pink and cream speckles, providing year-round visual interest. Mature plants may occasionally produce small, tubular flowers on tall stalks during the growing season.
- Temperature Tolerance: Suitable for warm climates and can thrive in temperatures ranging from 60°F to 80°F. It is not frost-tolerant, so bring it indoors or provide protection during colder months.
