- Light Requirements: Thrives in bright, indirect light but can adapt to low light conditions, making it suitable for various indoor environments. Temperature & Humidity: Prefers temperatures between 65°F and 85°F. While it adapts to low humidity, it thrives in moderate to high humidity levels.
- Watering Needs: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Typically, watering every 1-2 weeks is sufficient. Overwatering can cause root rot, so ensure proper drainage. Increase humidity by misting the leaves or placing the plant near a humidifier.
- Growth & Maintenance: The Golden Pothos is a fast-growing plant. Regular pruning helps maintain its shape and encourages fuller growth. Propagation is easy through stem cuttings. Trim back any leggy vines to maintain a bushier appearance and use the cuttings to propagate new plants.
- Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix. A mix containing perlite or a cactus mix works well. Can grow up to 10 feet long as a trailing vine, making it perfect for creating a green cascade or a climbing display. Repot every 1-2 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Choose a pot slightly larger than the previous one with good drainage.
