Ensure the site is spacious enough to accommodate the tree’s mature size (30-65 feet tall, 20-35 feet spread), providing adequate room for roots and canopy spread.

Once established, the tree is quite drought-tolerant and requires less frequent watering. Ensure the planting site has well-drained soil. While the persimmon plant is adaptable to different soil types, it performs best in soil that is slightly acidic to neutral.
